Rotary Club of Thimphu is happy to welcome 3 new members to the club.

Successful completion of the first ever Bhutan Wilderness Medicine first aid training to Bhutanese tour guides. The training equipped them with the knowledge and skills in combating common injuries, altitude sickness, common medical illnesses, life threatening emergencies and proper evacuation of patients and victims.

A collaborative initiative of the Rotary club of Thimphu amd Rotary club of Honolulu, USA with technical support from KGUMSB.

Yet, another feather on the cap of Rotary Club of Thimphu's service for our country.

Bhutan Wilderness Training Program held with KGUMS & Medical University of Utah, to equip our first medical responders with the skills and knowledge to attend to medical emergencies in the wilderness. The program was a collaborative effort of Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunset, USA and Rotary club of Thimphu.
