I got over 3,000 reactions on my posts last week! Thanks everyone for your support! 🎉

We have registered as a volunteer organization, and we are pleased to share that our email was well received.

We received a positive response, and the discussions held in person with the concerned focal officer regarding the construction of the 108 Stupas were productive and encouraging.

This is to inform everyone that, following consultations with the concerned officials of the 108 Stupa Project, I will be joining a TikTok Live session today from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM to provide updates and details regarding the registration process.

Your participation and support will be greatly appreciated.

As I think back to my school days at Tangmachu Central School (the then TMSS) in the late 1990s, and early 2000s, one teacher I will never forget is Nima Tshering Sir, my English teacher. He was kind, caring, and dedicated, but also very strict and disciplined. Many students called him one of the “tigers” of Tangmachhu because he always corrected us when we did something wrong.

At that time, we did not understand why our teachers were so strict. Today, I realize that they only wanted us to become better people and have a bright future. Because of teachers like Nima Sir, many of us are now serving our country and society with confidence and responsibility.

Every year, Sir remembers my birthday and sends me his warm wishes. This morning, I was very happy and touched to receive the first birthday message from one of my most respected teachers. It brought back many good memories.

Nima Tshering Sir served as the Dy. Dean (Head) for Student Services of Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law. His journey from teacher to curriculum officer and the Dy. Dean of Bhutan’s law school shows his hard work, dedication, and leadership. He has resigned in 2024. We are proud of him and wish him many more successes in the future.

Thank you, Sir, and thank you to all teachers in Bhutan and around the world. Your guidance, care, and dedication continue to shape lives and build a better future for all.

Long live our Guruji!

With deep respects and love,

(Sonam Lhundrup)
General Secretary for KPT
