As we bid a fond farewell to 2025, BAOWE would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
During the engagement meeting with a few women owned open market members, it was heartening to note the upbeat spirit of erstwhile street hawkers now looking forward to taking the leap towards entrepreneurship and eventually joining the mainstream economy.
Wishing Pelden Enterprise Ltd. A Happy and Prosperous New Year 2026 with heartfelt gratitude for their generous support from BAOWE and all our members.

The second day of the “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs through Digital Transformation” training program focused on practical and hands-on learning with participants actively engaging in digital business exercises.

A key highlight of the day was the introduction of the BAOWE Auction Site—a digital platform developed to support wholesale and retail business activities for local entrepreneurs. The platform allows sellers to upload images and detailed descriptions of their products, manage inventory listings, and even purchase goods directly from the site. The user-friendly interface is designed with the needs of Bhutanese women entrepreneurs in mind, particularly those operating in rural areas.
