6 August 2026- Thimphu A total of 24 participants, including 6 KOICA–NGO members and 18 DSP media students, conducted a waste management advocacy program along Norzin Lam.

The group collected 8 bags of litter while engaging pedestrians on proper waste disposal and environmental responsibility.

The program aimed to raise public awareness on waste management through direct interaction with the public, encouraging responsible disposal practices and promoting community involvement in maintaining a clean and environmentally responsible Thimphu.

28 July 2026: Thimphu- development of Changjiji Community Climate Park in collaboration with National Housing Development Corporation Limited, Bhutan powered by KOICA-NGO supported by KIDC, Global Inner Peace & KEEC. - A park to create a community climate education hub for the young minds.

22 July 2026: Our Clean Bhutan - KOICA-NGO team visited the Waste Bank at the Head Office and brought along the recyclable waste we had collected.

The visit highlighted the importance of proper waste management and reminded us that segregating household waste is important and should begin at home. Every small action contributes to a cleaner environment and a more sustainable future. Global Inner Peace

13 July 2026: Thimphu - Climate Fresk is an interactive tool that provides quality climate education by helping young minds understand the causes, impacts and interconnection of climate change. Today, we had the opportunity to meet 16 High School students who are attending the Changjiji Summer camp and teach them about climate change by using Climate Fresk tool. The students are from YHSS, MHSS, CMSS, LMSS, Pangbisa Academy. Meeting with 16 high school students during their summer vacation.
Thank you Changjiji youth centre for organising this meeting. 10 July 2026: Thimphu - junior level Climate Fresk is an interactive tool that provides quality climate education by helping young minds understand the causes, impacts and interconnection of climate change. Today, we had the opportunity to meet the 23 young student who are attending the Changjiji Summer camp. The students age ranged from 8 to 14 years old. Clean Bhutan encourages the students in understanding and encouraging critical thinking and action towards more sustainable future.
