On this auspicious 2nd of June, the Bhutan Hardware Association joins the nation in celebrating the Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation for Bhutan’s peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.

We also observe Social Forestry Day, a reminder of our shared responsibility to protect and preserve Bhutan’s forests and natural resources. His Majesty’s unwavering commitment to environmental conservation continues to inspire generations and has made Bhutan a global example of sustainable development.

As we commemorate this significant day, we express our deepest gratitude for His Majesty’s enduring legacy and reaffirm our commitment to contributing to nation-building while supporting environmental stewardship for a greener and more prosperous Bhutan.

108 Jangchub Chorten initiated by His Majesty The King.

𝗚𝗠𝗖 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟬𝟴 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Initiated by His Majesty The King, 108 Jangchub Chorten or stupas will be raised simultaneously at the Gelephu Mindfulness City on 1st November. According to the GMCA Spiritual Workstream, so far, sponsors have been secured for more than 50 stupas. Following requests from the public, arrangements are now made for families, groups, communities and individuals in Bhutan and abroad to take part in the initiative. The sacred initiative is dedicated to peace, harmony, and enlightenment for all beings.
