It was conceptualized on 21.02.2021 to commemorate the birthday of our His Majesty King Jigme Kesar Namgyel Wangchuk. Bhutan Musical Artists (BMA) has been established to unite all musical artists and individual youths aspiring to take professionalism in music into one common body of integrated, entrepreneurial and vibrant musical artists to endeavor, create and promote musical platforms on a sus
tainable and long term perspectives with an objective of bringing all aspiring musical artists under one roof to garner and generate a house of musical artists and render a common platform to voice out grievances and setbacks that undermine the growth of their professions and shared interests of musical artists. BMA is mandated as a single collective voice of all musical artists to promote, protect, represent and advance the interests of the music industry and a key player in enhancing the professionalism of music industry with a vibrant musical artists community capable of playing an important role in social, economic, and domestic development of our nation, Bhutan. The mission of BMA is to build a professional and independent musical artist community and to represent the interest of the members, foster their economic and professional growth while uplifting the standards of musical artists and contributing towards sustainable development of music industry in Bhutan.
