On September 30th, the rovers of Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology embarked on a journey to Tabar Nye to aid in the construction of the Lhakhang—a place of profound spiritual significance. This day turned out to be a blend of hard work, gratitude, and spiritual enlightenment.

Arriving amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Tabar Nye, we were immediately struck by the serene surroundings, a perfect backdrop for the day's meaningful activities.

Before we began our work, we expressed our gratitude for the sponsors who had provided us with delicious food. A hearty meal not only nourished our bodies but also underscored the significance of community support.

Our collective efforts in constructing the Lhakhang created a sense of unity and purpose. We realized that our work was contributing to the creation of a sacred space for spiritual practice and connection, leaving us with a profound sense of fulfillment.

After completing our work, a kind monk from Tabar Nye shared the place's history and spiritual significance. We learned about the ancient rituals and traditions that have been upheld for generations. This storytelling immersed us in the rich cultural heritage of Bhutan and the importance of preserving our traditions.

As the day drew to a close, we marveled at the tranquil beauty of Tabar Nye, feeling a deep sense of peace and connection to the land. It was a poignant reminder of the importance of preserving such natural wonders and sacred spaces for future generations.

GCIT Rovers Embrace Environmental Responsibility: A Successful Area Cleanup

Date: September 27, 2023

At Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology (GCIT), a spirit of camaraderie and environmental stewardship thrives among its students. On September 27, 2023, the college's dedicated team of rovers came together for a commendable initiative—an area cleanup event that left a lasting impact on both the campus and the hearts of those involved.

**A Commitment to Environmental Responsibility**

GCIT has always taken pride in nurturing socially responsible citizens, and this cleanup event exemplified the college's commitment to environmental responsibility. The rovers, known for their determination and passion for community service, adopted the campus's surrounding area as their own. With a shared goal of fostering a cleaner and greener environment, they embarked on a mission to make a difference.

**The Cleanup Journey**

The rovers divided themselves into teams, each assigned to a specific area, from the college's lush gardens to the nearby pathways. They scoured every nook and cranny, meticulously collecting litter and disposing of it responsibly. Plastic bottles, paper waste, and even larger items that had been carelessly discarded were soon replaced by a cleaner, more inviting atmosphere.

**A Unifying Experience**

What made this cleanup event truly special was the sense of unity and purpose that permeated the day. Students from different backgrounds and courses came together, forging new friendships and deepening their bonds as they worked side by side for a common cause.

**A Brighter, Greener Future**

As the day drew to a close, the campus bore witness to a transformation. What was once marred by litter and debris now sparkled with newfound vitality. The rovers' commitment to environmental responsibility had not only cleaned the area but had also left an indelible mark on their hearts and minds.

The cleanup event at GCIT was more than just a day of hard work; it was a testament to the college's dedication to fostering responsible, compassionate citizens who care for their surroundings. The rovers proved that by adopting the air as their own, they could create a brighter, greener future for all.

This event served as a reminder that small acts of kindness and environmental responsibility can have a profound impact.
