On 28th May 2026, RENEW CSC Trashigang, in partnership with Thekchog Kunzang Choden Nunnery, marked Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 by engaging nuns in meaningful discussions on menstrual health and hygiene. 🌸

Under the theme “Together For A ”, the initiative highlighted the importance of awareness, dignity, and ending the stigma around menstruation.

Let’s continue building a world where every girl and woman feels informed, supported, and confident. 💜

In celebration of the 63rd Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck, RENEW CSC Trashigang, in collaboration with Multi-Sectoral Task Force-Community Based Support System (MSTF-CBSS), gathered at the Trashigang Dzongkhag Administration in a spirit of gratitude, unity, and deep respect.

The occasion also marked the 22nd Foundation Day of RENEW honoring its enduring commitment to the safety, dignity, and empowerment of women and children across Bhutan.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Trashigang Dzongkhag Administration for their valued support in making this celebration truly meaningful.

Her Majesty has been a light for so many people navigating their darkest days offering hope where there was fear, comfort where there was pain, and strength where there was silence. The love and care Her Majesty continues to show, especially towards the most vulnerable, is something words can never fully capture.

So many lives have been touched, protected, and transformed simply because Her Majesty chose to lead with kindness and humanity. Beneath the grace is a heart that has carried the pain of others so gently, while continuously inspiring a nation through compassion, courage, and selfless service.

On 17th April 2026, RENEW CSC Trashigang, in collaboration with Trashigang Middle Secondary School, successfully conducted a Basic EISR Training for 13 Peer Helpers and DAISAN Youth Volunteers.

This training aimed to strengthen the capacity of young volunteers to respond effectively to emotional and social issues among their peers.

✨ Key highlights from the session:
• Understanding the role and boundaries of a peer helper
• Building active listening and empathy skills
• Identifying early signs of distress and behavioral changes
• Encouraging help-seeking and referral pathways
• Promoting safe and supportive peer environments

The training emphasized that youth volunteers are not expected to solve problems alone, but to act as a bridge connecting those in need to the right support systems.
