Winter is harsh, but kindness is warmer.

This winter, Serving Humanity was once again able to support an elderly man at Pam, Trashigang marking the third time we have stood by him.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Jinda of Happy Store, Rangjung, whose generous sponsorship of warm clothes has brought comfort, dignity, and hope to an old man when he needs it most.
On behalf of Serving Humanity, thank you for proving that compassion still lives strong in our communities.
May your kindness return to you in many beautiful ways.

With deep gratitude and heartfelt prayers, Serving Humanity – Helping Needy, offer sincere appreciation to David Gill, currently in England, for his generous donation of Nu. 40,000. David though foreign by birth, he has shown a deep understanding and respect for our culture, traditions, and religious practices, embracing them with genuine humility and love. A man blessed with a truly compassionate heart, his kindness arises from selflessness and a sincere wish to reduce the suffering of others. His service as a volunteer teacher at Rangjung Lower Secondary School in 2018 was a beautiful act of offering, sowing seeds of wisdom, care, and hope in young lives. This is not the first time he has stood beside Serving Humanity – Helping Needy, and his continued support strengthens our faith in compassion and human goodness. Though oceans apart, the bond of friendship and the merit of his deeds remain close to our hearts. May his generosity return to him as good health, long life, inner peace, prosperity, and the fulfilment of all his dreams. May his path always be guided by compassion and wisdom

Serving Humanity – A Small Act, A Big Difference

This time, our Serving Humanity team reached out to a man in Paro who has been living alone in a small hut. We learned about his situation through Ms. Sangay Dema, who lives nearby. We want to express our deepest gratitude to her for being the bridge that made this support possible.

The video she shared with us was heartbreaking. He had gone two days without food and was bedridden. At our request, Sangay prepared a warm meal for him, fed him with care, and helped him stand and walk a little. That simple act of kindness changed everything.

With Sangay’s help, we were able to support him with warm clothes, essential food items, a mattress, and blankets. What touched us the most was seeing him walk and talk again after having a proper meal. It gave us hope that he will slowly regain his strength and health.

Moments like this remind us why Serving Humanity matters. Sometimes, the smallest gesture can bring back dignity, warmth, and hope into someone’s life.

Inspired by His Majesty’s noble example, Serving Humanity – Helping Needy continues its humble efforts to support those in need across Bhutan. Every small act of kindness we extend is a tribute to His Majesty’s lifelong compassion and dedication to the wellbeing of all Bhutanese. We offer our sincere prayers for His Majesty’s good health, long life, and everlasting peace and prosperity for our beloved nation.

Another milestone achieved......

With the collective effort of our Serving Humanity team, we were earlier able to re-enroll young Tsheltrim Gyeltshen, who had dropped out of school this year. Our team also covered all his school-related expenses, giving him the opportunity to return to education with renewed hope.

However, after nearly eight months, Tsheltrim’s mother reached out in tears, sharing that her son has been referred to JDWNRH, Thimphu, for treatment of early-stage cancer. She is deeply worried about his treatment and accommodation, as she has no close relatives in Thimphu to stay with.

Understanding the urgency of the situation, our team ,staff of Rangjung Primary School have come together once again to support Tsheltrim and his mother with Nu. 16,800 for his medical expenses.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Rangjung Primary School, Mam Choten in Australia, Mrs. Tendi Wangmo, and the Rangjung Doctor for their generous and timely support.

As promised earlier to MeMe at Pam, Trashigang, our Serving Humanity team once again reached out with a small gesture of care and warmth. With the cold season approaching, we provided him with a few essential items to help him stay warm and comfortable through the winter.

We’re happy to share that our Serving Humanity team has completed building a toilet for an elderly woman who has been living alone. This small but meaningful support will now give her easier access to a toilet and water for her daily needs.Our heartfelt thanks to all team members for your continued support. We are also deeply grateful to Mrs. Choten Zangmo, Jinda Choki Lhamo, and Jinda S.S General Shop for their generous help in making this possible. Your kindness has brought real comfort to her life. ❤️
