We are deeply saddened by the recent devastating flash flood along the China-Nepal border, which claimed many lives, caused numerous injuries, and destroyed homes and properties. On this auspicious day, His Eminence the 11th Peling Sungtrul Rinpoche, Jigdrel Kunzang Pema Dorji, together with the monastic community of Thegchog Namdrol Ugyen Choling Peling Buddhist College in Drametse, Mongar, offered extensive prayers. These footages are shared to show that His Eminence and the monks are praying for the deceased to be liberated from the fears of the bardo and attain rebirth in the pure land, and to pray that such catastrophic disasters never happen again.

"Today, on the auspicious and propitious day of the 16th day of the 6th month of the Female Fire Horse Year of our traditional calendar, corresponding to July 30, 2026, the third batch of practitioners (tsampas) from the Drametse Drubde Kunzang Samten Odzer Ling monastery have successfully completed their three-year, three-month retreat.
In connection with the thanksgiving Feast Offering (Tsogkhor) ritual, a short video titled 'The Gandharva's Flute' (Drizai Lingbu) has been produced as a musical tribute of gratitude to our root teacher who possesses the three kindnesses: the master of the Southern Terma teachings, the illuminator of the Nyingma doctrine, the life-tree of the Peling tradition, the 11th Peling Sungtrul, His Holiness Kyabje Jigdrel Kunzang Pema Dorje Rinpoche.
