Update on Ani Pema Deki’s Journey

Ani Pema Deki has successfully reached Mongar today, where she was warmly received by the De-suung Regional Office, Mongar. As a gesture of appreciation for her noble initiative and ongoing 400 km charitable walk, the DRO arranged a simple tea and snack reception.

A few De-suups also accompanied Ani and her team on foot from Lingmethang to Mongar, demonstrating their solidarity and support for her cause. Upon reaching Mongar Dzongkhag Administration, a tea and snack session was further arranged at Wangchuk Hotel in her honour.

Ani Pema Deki will remain in Mongar for the next two days, during which she will visit Kilikhar Shedra and the Anim Dratshang at Yakpogang.

On 17th November, Ani and her team will continue their journey, proceeding from Mongar towards Korila and Sheri Zampa.
