Dak Tshang Rab Kar was initiated in 2007 with help of few friends & family members and with suggestion and guidance from some of the senior local people of the locality. Bumthang Dzongkhag consists of four main valleys Ura, Chumey, Tang and Choekhor. Choekhor is the largest of the four mountain valleys and is widely considered as ‘Bumthang Valley’. The valleys are broad and gentle carved by the a

ncient glaciers. The wide and scenic valleys draws a large number of tourists each year. With increasing of waste volume in this pristine valley, Dak Tshang Rab Kar initiated its work to clean valley with its mission to Reduce.Reuse.Recycle. Since then Dak Tshang Rab Kar is still going strong and helping community
and keep Bumthang valley clean
