🌱 💚Our 2025/2026 Annual Impact Report is here! It highlights the people, programs, and partnerships creating meaningful opportunities and moving Eleuthera forward.
⚡ Meet Frederick Anderson, a Police Sergeant with the Royal Bahamas Police Force who decided it was never too late to learn something new. Through CTI’s Rock Sound Campus, Frederick completed all three levels of the Electrical Installation program while balancing his career. Today, he’s putting his skills to work, from helping with the electrical installation in his family’s home to completing repairs at the Rock Sound Police Station. He’s also looking ahead to future entrepreneurial opportunities!
Frederick’s story is just one example of the momentum being built through education and workforce development across Eleuthera. 💙

🌊 Making Waves, Building Confidence, and Saving Lives! 🏊🏽‍♀️💙
Yesterday, One Eleuthera Foundation welcomed students participating in the Every Bahamian Swimming Program to the CTI Campus in Rock Sound! 🌴☀️
Through this free initiative, made possible in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and The Sean Connery Foundation, local students are gaining essential swimming skills, learning water safety, and building the confidence to navigate the waters that surround our island home. 🏊🏽‍♂️🌊
In The Bahamas, swimming is more than a skill. It is a life-saving tool that opens doors to new opportunities, from water safety and rescue to careers in the Blue Economy. 🛟🐠
We are proud to support a generation of young Bahamians who are safer, more confident, and better equipped for the future! 🌟🇧🇸

🏊‍♀️ For six years, OEF’s Learn to Swim program has been making waves in Eleuthera, equipping children and adults with essential swimming skills, water safety knowledge, and confidence in and around the ocean.
In 2026, 84 participants joined the program, bringing total participation to 463! 🎉 Two young swimmers, Tyliah Morley and Quinae Carey, took the skills they learned to the national stage, representing Eleuthera at the 54th Bahamas National Swimming Championships in New Providence.
🇧🇸🏅 At just 10 years old, both achieved personal-best times in the 4 x 50m and 4 x 100m relay events!
Their journey shows how Learn to Swim is creating a ripple effect beyond the pool — promoting water safety, building confidence, and opening doors for the next generation. 💙🐬
✨ And this is just one of the stories of momentum featured in our Annual Impact Report! Discover how OEF’s programs are creating meaningful change across Eleuthera.

It's World Migratory Bird Day! 🌎🐦
Today, we celebrate the incredible birds that travel thousands of miles each year — including special visitors like the Kirtland’s Warbler — who stop in Eleuthera and the wider Bahamas along their journey. 🌿
At OEF, we’re proud to create spaces where birds can safely rest, feed, and thrive. 💚🪶 Projects like our Bird’s Eye View Trail invite students and Eleutherans to explore our natural surroundings, learn about the birds around us, and discover why protecting these habitats matters. 🌳🔭
This World Migratory Bird Day, we celebrate the birds that call Eleuthera home, those passing through, and our community’s role in protecting them. 🐦✨
