Last week, we welcomed students from The Browning School in NYC to South Eleuthera.

Across our beautiful sandbars, shorelines, and marine ecosystems, students had the chance to learn by being fully immersed in the place around them. These are the kinds of moments our Visiting Programs are built around: stepping outside the traditional classroom, engaging directly with the environment, and discovering how much there is to learn when the ocean becomes the classroom.

Gratitude Lunch has become a tradition at The Island School. At the end of each term, our students and staff join together to give thanks to one another. Today's Gratitude Lunch featured a flash mob surprise.

They show up as living examples of the qualities we hope for in our future.
