Meet Priscola Cartwright, a woman whose journey reflects the power of perseverance, service, and the courage to step outside your comfort zone!

As Secretary of the Zonta Club of New Providence and Chair of our Raffle Day Fundraising Committee, Priscola demonstrates that leadership is not measured by how long you have been involved, but by your willingness to contribute, take initiative, and make a difference. 💛🧡

Her personal journey through education has taught her the value of resilience and the importance of never giving up on your dreams. Today, she uses those experiences to encourage other women to pursue their education, embrace new opportunities, and remember that, "it is never too late to start again!"

Through her professional life, mentorship, and service with Zonta, Priscola is committed to uplifting others and creating meaningful change for women and girls.

The Zonta Club of New Providence proudly celebrates the successful closing ceremony of the 2026 Zonta Entrepreneurship Program – Nail Care & Design Class!

It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize our participants’ hard work, dedication, and achievements as they completed a journey focused on developing practical skills, building confidence, and creating opportunities for entrepreneurship.

We are proud of each participant and look forward to seeing how they use their new skills to pursue their goals and contribute to their communities. 🌺

Today, the Zonta Club of New Providence supported the Ministry of Social Services’ Poverty Reduction Outreach and Expo. 🧡

At our booth, we hosted mini job talks, shared practical tips on interview preparation and dressing for success, and provided toiletries.🌟 We focused on building confidence and helping participants prepare for employment opportunities.🎉🎊

Reducing poverty takes a shared commitment to connecting people with resources, practical skills, and opportunities.🌟☀️

Join us as we continue to highlight the members of the Zonta Club of New Providence! 💛🧡

We are proud to highlight the remarkable women who make up our club. Our members are the heart of Zonta, bringing their unique experiences, talents, leadership, and passion for service to help us advance our mission of building a better world for women and girls.

Today, we proudly spotlight, Dr. Denotrah Archer-Cartwright — a physician, serial entrepreneur, innovator, educator, speaker, and business leader whose work continues to make an impact across healthcare, entrepreneurship, and community development.

With more than 17 years of medical experience, Dr. Archer-Cartwright is the Founder, CEO, and Medical Director of Medical Concierge Services. Her entrepreneurial vision extends beyond medicine into construction and real estate development, hospitality, wellness, and media. Through initiatives such as the annual Health Is Wealth Expo at Baha Mar and her radio programme, *The Doctor Is In* on Guardian Radio 96.9, she continues to educate, inspire, and champion innovation.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Archer-Cartwright is deeply committed to service and leadership. As an Executive Board Member and Director of Service for the Zonta Club of New Providence, she contributes to Zonta’s mission of advancing the rights and opportunities of women and girls. She is also the founding member and President of the Provider Physicians Association, advocating for physicians and patients while helping shape the future of healthcare in The Bahamas.

Dr. Archer-Cartwright exemplifies the power of vision, resilience, and service. Her dedication to building businesses, developing ideas, and creating meaningful solutions reflects the spirit of leadership and empowerment that strengthens our Zonta family.

On September 26, 2026, the Zonta Club of New Providence proudly launched the opening ceremony of its Nail Care & Design Entrepreneurship Program.

This initiative is designed to equip young women with practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge to help create opportunities for economic empowerment, independence, and personal growth.

We are excited to support these participants as they learn, build their skills, and take steps toward creating brighter futures. 💛

💛 GHS Z Club Weekly Meeting Highlights 💛

On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, Zonta Club of New Providence members ZVeronica Toppin and ZElaine Sands joined the GHS Z Club’s weekly meeting with Club Advisor Dr. Kadesha Cooper and Z Club members.

The meeting, led by Vice President Felicity Cartwright, included updates on the club’s first project—supporting the GHS office pantry—as well as plans for the upcoming charter ceremony, club banner, and executive pins.

🎟️ Members were also encouraged to support the Zonta Club of New Providence’s upcoming raffle.

💜 ZElaine highlighted the importance of participating in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, including upcoming 2026 activities such as the Pinning Ceremony at Parliament and a seminar at the University of The Bahamas.

The meeting concluded with a discussion on healthy lifestyles and a group photo. We look forward to continuing to support and empower our GHS Z Club members as they lead, serve, and make a difference in their community! 💛

The Zonta Club of New Providence proudly celebrates our zister, Senator the Honourable D'asante Small, as she champions literacy through her Literacy Challenge in recognition of World Literacy Day on September 8, 2026.

What a wonderful initiative that encourages a love of reading, learning, and lifelong education! 📖💛

September was filled with worship, fellowship, and meaningful moments together. On September 6, 2026, the Zonta Club of New Providence gathered for worship at the Church of the Resurrection, followed by a wonderful brunch and fellowship at Oasis at Cryto Isle.
