The Zonta Club of New Providence remains committed to excellence in leadership! 🎉✨

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, we hosted a Board Training Session for our newly appointed 2026–2028 Board of Directors.

This session was more than just a training day—it was a powerful opportunity for leadership development, collaborative planning, and meaningful dialogue. As we look ahead to this new biennium, our leaders are fully equipped, inspired, and united.

We were incredibly honored to learn from three phenomenal trailblazers who shared their wealth of knowledge and expertise:

🎉 Zonta Club of New Providence Continues to Invest in Bahamian Women!

Yesterday, we were honoured to present a $5,000 contribution to our Endowment Fund at the University of The Bahamas (UB), received by UB President Dr. Robert Blaine. Our Endowment Fund was established to support Bahamian women aged 25 and older who are ineligible for traditional government scholarships because of work and family obligations. Women who started a dream, paused it for life, and refused to give up on it. Here is what that commitment has produced:

✅ Over 11 Bahamian women aged 35+ have earned their bachelor's degrees through this fund

✅ Many were the first in their families to do so

✅ Recipients have come from both New Providence and the Family Islands

✅ Women have graduated in fields including Accounting, Education, and many others

The Zonta Club of New Providence remains committed to empowering women through education, and we are proud to be one of the most consistent donors to the endowment fund. Because when women rise, the Bahamas rises with them.

She Rises Up… Eleuthera Edition 💕

The final She Rises Up Female Empowerment Seminar for the academic school year was held at Central Eleuthera High School.

There is something powerful about sitting in a room filled with young ladies who are learning to discover their voice, understand their worth, and recognize the greatness they already carry inside of them.

We are definitely outside, not just hosting events, but doing the work. We remain committed to creating opportunities for our high school girls to be encouraged, mentored, challenged, and reminded that they have a place in every room they dream of entering.

• Central Eleuthera High School
• North Eleuthera High School

Your energy, honesty, and willingness to participate reminded us why programs like this matter.

The Zonta Club of New Providence is pleased to announce its Annual Job Readiness Program, themed “Building Tomorrow’s Workforce Today.”

This free three-week programme is designed to equip unemployed women ages 20–35 with the practical skills, confidence, and workplace knowledge needed to pursue meaningful employment opportunities.

Participants will receive training in:
• Resume preparation and interview skills
• Workplace professionalism and communication
• Entrepreneurship fundamentals
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and other essential computer skills

📍 Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute (BTVI)
