The Kiwanis Club of Over The Hill proudly hosted its 51st Installation Banquet on October 25, 2025, at The Paul Farquharson Center.

Under the leadership of President Kendal “Kenny” Carroll Woodside and guided by this year’s inspiring theme, “Together We Stand,” the Club welcomed a dynamic new team of Officers and Directors. Each has been entrusted with the responsibility to make meaningful decisions that will positively impact the lives of the less fortunate within our communities.

We extend heartfelt appreciation to Lieutenant Governor Joan Knowles for delivering the charge to our Club and for officiating the pinning of our newly installed Officers and Directors.

The evening also marked a special moment as we welcomed two new members—Walewski Gordon and Harvey Sweeting Jr. Both expressed sincere gratitude for the opportunity to serve within a community-focused, service-driven organization.

The night was filled with joy, laughter, and celebration. Adding to the festivities, Past President Bradley celebrated his birthday and was presented with a beautiful birthday cake.

It was truly a memorable evening of fellowship, service, and unity.

On Friday September 26, 2025, Kiwanis Club of Over-the-Hill recognized and celebrated its Faculty Advisor, Mrs Samaroo and the Terrific Kids recipients at Sybil Strachan Primary School with a pizza party, certificates and gift bags.

It was K-Kids first official meeting and what a better way to kick start the school year celebrating their work of the prior school year. President Jovon had a motivational message to the kids and they extremely excited to giveback to their school, parents and the less fortunate around them.

The club members present were President Jovon Woodside, President Designate Kenny Carroll, Past President Berry Sweeting, Distinguished President Todd Beneby and Distinguished President Dominique Gaitor.
