✨Celebrating a Living Legend✨

This afternoon, North & Central Region Director Bro. Terrence Cartwright Jr., together with Worshipful Master Eugene Williamson of St.James Masonic Lodge No.3 and Bro. Juan Pratt of PGM Ted Sweeting Masonic Lodge No.31 PHA (former Master Knight), had the honor of visiting P.G.M. Fernley A. Palmer on the occasion of his 95th birthday.

The brethren presented him with a fruit basket as he graciously shared stories of his youth and reflected on how much things have changed over the years.

P.G.M. Palmer gave thanks to God for preserving his health and mind. Though no longer able to walk on his own, he remains sharp and continues to recall vivid memories from his early days-including growing up just two houses away from the first Prime Minister of The Bahamas Sir Linding Pindling.

A remarkable man, a faithful Mason, and an inspiration to us all-Happy Birthday, P.G.M. Palmer! 🎉🎂

Born September 26th 1930, Captain Fernley A. Palmer has dedicated more than six decades to transforming the lives of young men in The Bahamas. As the long-serving Captain of the 14th Nassau Company, Boys' Brigade, a Justice of the Peace, a successful small business owner, and a faithful community builder, his influence has been immeasurable.

He has been honored nationally with the MBE (Member of the British Empire), celebrated for 60+ years of service, and continues to be recognized as one of the world's longest-serving Boys' Brigade captains.

🏛️ Legacy of Service
• Youth Development: Guiding generations of young men through the Boys' Brigade and instilling discipline, faith, and brotherhood.

• Community Impact: Maintaining a trusted presence at East & Flint Streets, serving as a JP, and investing in Nassau's inner-city communities.

• International Leadership: Representing The Bahamas at world Boys' Brigade events, introducing the renowned "Silent Drill" at the 1963 World Camp in Edinburgh.

• Brotherhood & Faith: An active St. James Masonic Lodge No.3 Prince Hall Freemason, exemplifying the values of service, morality, and mentorship.
