🌟 *EXPO Yourself!*🌟

On Thursday, 27th August 2026, Mr. Steven Georges, Chair for Education, Enterprise & Career of the Golden Gates Youth Association & Council had the distinct opportunity to present to the Sybil Strachan Primary School Student Leaders for the 2026 - 2027 school year during their Student Leaders’ Welcome Back to School Meet & Greet.

This year’s theme, *“EXPO Yourself,”* encouraged students to:
✨ *E* – Encourage Excellence
✨ *X* – Xpress Yourself Through Your Hobbies
✨ *P*– Participate in Positivity
✨ *O*– Organize Your Goals

Steven had the privilege of presenting on “P – Participate in Positivity,” encouraging our young leaders to make a positive impact in their classrooms, school and community. 💙

To close out an inspiring day of leadership, the Golden Gates Youth Council and Advisory Team treated the young student leaders to some well-deserved ice cream!

We were excited to have a positive impact in the lives of our future leaders!

Last night, our Youth Chat & Chill was everything we hoped it would be and more! 🎉

From the surprise reveal at Oasis Bar & Bistro to the games, prizes, great food and plenty of laughs, the night gave Golden Gates youth a space to connect, share their ideas and speak openly about the topics that matter to them.

Our Special Guest Hon. Pia Glover-Rolle also joined the panel, answering questions, sharing insight and hearing directly from the young people of Golden Gates.

And of course, we had to end the night with a few trending TikToks! 😂
