Let’s Swim Bahamas

29/09/2026

We’re back! So excited to kick off the new school year, starting with students from Grade 6 Eva Hilton.

82% of G6 signed up and we are seeing some excellent progress as many of the students are building on the skills learnt in previous years. We also welcome many new swimmers - sign up is ⬆️ from 58% last year 🙌 🏊🏽‍♀️🏊🏾

Special thanks to our wonderful team of coaches and volunteers.

WATER SAFETY VIDEO!!! As we prepare for Back-to-School in The Bahamas, hundreds—if not thousands—of our children still do not know how to swim. We live on an island surrounded by water. Equipping our children with the lifesaving skill of knowing how to swim is not just our passion—it is our priority.

Let’s Swim Bahamas is a learn-to-swim program founded by Andy and Nancy Knowles and launched in 2008. The program primarily serves government-run primary schools, providing free swimming instruction to students enrolled in the program.

We invite you to take a look at our latest Water Safety Video and enjoy our new promotional jingle, performed by gospel hip-hop duo Chosen Soldiers and produced by Sammi Starr

SIGN UP your child for swim lessons at applicable primary schools in Nassau and follow our social media channels for news and updates.
