Gallery hours are Monday to Wednesday from 10am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm, so there are only 4 more days available to view the show!

INVITATION TO CREATIVES FROM THE CITY OF JINJU, SOUTH KOREA:

As the Focal Point of Jinju City belonging to the UNESCO Crafts and Folk Art sub-network, we are pleased to introduce two exchange and cooperation programs in the field of folk arts to be held in Jinju this coming autumn.

One of them is the 2026 Jinju World Folk Arts Biennale ('JWFB') Program, which is scheduled to be held from October 15 to 18. This program invites approximately 40 artists in the fields of folk music and folk dance to perform at the Jinju Folk Arts Biennale.

The other is the 2026 Jinju Artist in Residence (JAR) Program, which invites two artists from the field of folk arts to stay in Jinju for about one month from mid-September to mid-October 2026 and collaborate with local artists.

These two programs are being conducted by Jinju City through a commission to The Jinju Culture and Tourism Foundation (hereinafter "JJCT").

Detailed information and application forms are attached for local artists to apply.

This year’s theme calls for work that is cutting, reflective, critical, and honest—art that not only mirrors our times, but helps shape what comes next. Chasing Light is about awakening. About pushing beyond comfort and commerce to create, question, and illuminate. It asks us to seek light even in moments of darkness—and to share it.
