s meet for so long, this young entrepreneur decided to make a difference and try to bring about some degree of change to our nation and country as a whole, one person one community at a time. So to the unemployed, single mothers, displaced youths, elderly, homeless, ex-criminals etc. It takes a Village "Agents of Change" Community outreach is embarking on an exciting life changing time in our nation’s history, a change that will bring to life the upward, onward, forward, together expressions of our national motto through a movement that will bring about an unprecedented paradigm shift that we can all look back on some day and say that we are proud to have been instrumental in bringing about such a change. The bible says to train up a child in the way they should grow and when they grow old they will not depart from it. If we don’t train our children to love honor, obey and be charitable, there is every chance that they could most likely grow up to be hateful, angry, disrespectful, uncharitable and a menace to society. It takes a Village "Agents of Change" Community outreach programs features many workshops that are structured to allow every individual that desires an opportunity to get involved in something constructive such as our Boys & Girls Activity Club, that will limit the time for idle hands and keep them out of harm's way, our Leadership Club which will allow us to develop and groom future leaders who exemplify true leadership qualities of self respect, self-esteem, self confidence, self worth and self awareness, as well as our "Agents Of Change" community program that ultimately supports our vision of a better Bahamas that is more self aware and focus on community enrichment efforts that unites, strengthens and builds community spirit through one common goal that promotes communities helping communities, people helping people and ultimately helping themselves in the same process. All training programs and workshops are structured to ensure members are mentored, counseled, guided, motivated and encouraged to acquire and utilize the academic, vocational and social training skills provided not only to succeed but to excel in school, and their acquire careers and to raise their interest for humanitarian and community service while becoming more open and receptive to love and giving back to someone else that is less fortunate in our communities. Instead of us continually asking what our government can do for us, we as a nation need to be the (Agents of Change) the ones to take the lead and start doing something for ourselves to make a difference and bring about the change we want to see in our lives and our communities. To first help self, community, country and then the World. In this regard we are looking to align ourselves with like-minded individuals, institutions, corporations, and groups who can see a merit in such a venture and wish to do their part. We are looking for civic-minded individuals who believe in self help, personal responsibility and Bahamian ownership and have what it takes to be an Agents of Change, to help us lead this ground breaking, dynamic organization
We are especially welcome volunteers with the following skills: Leadership, mentoring, teaching, construction, electrical, painting, landscaping, tutoring, event planning, activity coordinating and cleaning skills. We also greatly welcome and appreciate anyone who wishes to make a donation to this worthy cause.
