Last week, community members from Acklins and Crooked Island came together for two days of learning, collaboration, and idea-building as part of the BPAF Community Engagement Programme.

The programme is designed to strengthen the capacity of local organizations and community members, helping them develop stronger projects, access funding opportunities and play a greater role in protecting and sustainably managing The Bahamas' natural resources.

Through interactive presentations led by the BPAF team, group discussions and hands-on activities, participants explored key areas of project development and gained practical knowledge to help them create strong, competitive grant applications.

A special thank you to the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund and Lombard Odier for funding this important initiative, and to everyone who helped make these two days of learning and collaboration a success.
