Lignum Vitae have a cooperative partnership with The University of Florida and attend Youth Development Institute and 4-H workshops which address the needs of youth and young adults. Participants pledge: "I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service and my health to bett

er living, for my club, my community, my country and my world." 4-H clubs and activities engage the individual building life-skills and hands-on learning experiences, making learning fun. Skills taught also include communication, responsibility, independence, confidence and leadership skills.
