The Brother Sister Campaign is a young-adults non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering and instilling hope in the lives of young adolescents of The Bahamas. The organization was founded in 2014 with the intention of providing mentorship, supplies, and guidance to children in homes and community programs. The organization serves year-round, however, the majority of engagements and ev
ents take place during extended holidays such as winter and summer holidays. While these dates align with children's breaks from school, they also are the most convenient times for our members, since our organization is comprised of many abroad college students. The engagements and events are ways to give back to the community and fulfill the needs of our beneficiaries that will be recipients of donations and scholarships. The organization seeks to find funding firstly from its founding members, government grants, corporate sponsorships, and any other private entity interested in donating to others. Research will be carried out to determine the specific needs of individual organizations that the foundation will donate to, and sponsors of the organization will be debriefed on the intimate details of how exactly their contribution was utilized. Moreover, The Brother Sister Campaign provides methods for other organizations to increase their community involvement and to fulfill their community responsibility. Recently, The Brother Sister Campaign has established an academic scholarship fund and has been able to provide a $500 academic scholarship for 3 recipients in the previous 3 years.
