Happy Monday from The Bahamas — where the week starts a little differently.

No traffic jams. No Monday blues. Just open water, island horizons, and the very real possibility that your next stop involves a dock, a cold drink, and a view worth crossing an ocean for.

For those of us who know The Bahamas by boat, there’s something special about waking up and realizing the entire archipelago is waiting to be explored.

Out here, the traffic is crystal clear, the locals are curious, and the only thing riding your wake is a shark—or several.

No road rage. No honking. Just a very Bahamian reminder that you’re never really alone on the water.

Would you keep cruising or slow down for the ultimate wildlife encounter?

Some marinas and fuel docks in The Bahamas tell you who’s been here 🇧🇸⚓️

We all have that place… our go-to fuel dock, our favorite little stop, the one we could find half-asleep after a long run. So let’s call this one what it really is: a “People Dock.”

Can you name this fuel dock?

You’ll notice it right away — stickers on the pumps, boat names stacked on top of boat names, marinas, fishing crews, favorite islands, and a few legends who’ve been making these runs for longer than they’d probably like to admit.

Each one leaves behind a little piece of a story. A fuel stop. An island run. A fishing trip. A summer nobody wanted to end.

It’s just one of those small details that makes you pause and wonder about all the miles — and all the favorite places — that have passed through.

Some places are beautiful. And then there’s Exuma. 💙

For this week’s , we’re letting these incredible guest shots do most of the talking — because honestly, how do you compete with water this blue?

Sandbars that appear out of nowhere. Tiny cays scattered across the horizon. Boats floating in water so clear they almost look suspended in air. This is the kind of Bahamas magic that never gets old.

And the best way to experience Exuma? By boat, of course. ⚓️

Here’s to chasing blue water, finding your own little piece of paradise, and collecting the kind of Friday memories that make going home very, very difficult.

There are marinas you stop at… and then there are places that quietly convince you to stay just a little longer.

Some places are more than just a stop along the way—they become part of the experience itself.

On Elbow Cay, the Hope Town Lighthouse has been doing just that for over a century, quietly guiding mariners safely through the waters of The Abacos. It’s one of the last hand-wound, kerosene-powered lighthouses still in operation anywhere in the world, and while that’s remarkable, what really stands out is how much it still feels like it belongs here.

Its red-and-white tower is instantly recognizable, but it’s the moment you’re standing at its base—looking out over Hope Town and those clear Bahamian waters—that really stays with you.

On this , we’re reminded of the simple importance of these places and the role they continue to play for anyone who spends time on the water in The Bahamas.

Lobster season has officially arrived in The Bahamas… and for those who know, this is one of the most exciting times of the year.

The marinas come alive before sunrise, dive flags dot the turquoise water, and boats head out in search of one of the islands’ most treasured traditions. It’s more than the catch—it’s the adventure, the stories shared on the ride home, and the unforgettable meal waiting at the dock.

Whether you’re planning your first Bahamian lobster hunt or returning for another season on the water, there’s simply no better place to experience it than from one of The Bahamas’ incredible marinas.

As you enjoy the season, remember to dive responsibly, respect bag limits and marine park regulations, be mindful of fellow boaters and divers, and help protect this incredible resource for generations to come.

Adventure is calling. The lobster are waiting.
