A HEARTFELT THANK YOU FROM GENESIS JUNKANOO ORGANIZATION! 💚

Genesis Junkanoo Organization extends heartfelt gratitude to all our members, sponsors, participants, and supporters who contributed to the success of our Annual Mental Health Awareness Fun Run/Walk.

A special thank you goes to the various civic organizations that partnered with us in bringing another meaningful community outreach initiative to life. We recognize that when like-minded organizations unite, we can accomplish so much more for the communities we cherish. Through collaboration, we strengthen our collective efforts to empower, uplift, and support the very communities in which we live and work.

Our Mental Health Awareness campaign concluded just days before the globally recognized World Mental Health Day, reinforcing the importance of continued conversations, greater awareness, and collective action in promoting mental wellness.

Genesis Junkanoo Organization remains steadfast in our commitment to empowering our communities, encouraging healthy minds and bodies, and making a lasting difference through service.

Today, we proudly celebrate 12 incredible years of creativity, community, cultural pride, and purpose! Since our founding in 2014, Genesis Junkanoo Organization has remained committed to a powerful vision: promoting our culture, advancing community-based development, and providing opportunities for education and training through the art form and spirit of Junkanoo.

As we commemorate this remarkable milestone, we celebrate not only how far we have come, but also the vision, determination, and unwavering commitment that continue to move us forward. Twelve years later, we are STILL GOING STRONG! Our dedication to enriching lives socially, economically, and physically remains at the heart of everything we do, guided by the principles of fairness, compassion, unity, and collective progress.

For 12 years, Genesis Junkanoo Organization has been a platform for developing sharp minds, building strong moral character, nurturing healthy bodies, and empowering individuals within our organization and the wider community. Through the vibrant art of Junkanoo, we continue to preserve our heritage, inspire the next generation, and demonstrate that our culture is more than a tradition. 🎓📚 INVESTING IN EXCELLENCE, CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENT!

Genesis Junkanoo Organization is proud to announce the conclusion of our 2026 Back to School Initiative, highlighted by the presentation of tablets to twelve (12) outstanding students in recognition of their academic achievements.

These students, ranging from primary school to senior high school, were selected based on the highest grade point averages among those who presented their end of term report cards at our Back to School event.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to encouraging academic excellence, supporting our young people, and investing in the future leaders of our nation.

Our Back to School event also provided over 100 bags of school supplies, served more than 350 breakfasts to students and parents, and brought our community together through Clothing Drive 2.0, assisting residents of all ages.

At Genesis Junkanoo Organization, our commitment goes beyond Bay Street. We believe in building stronger communities, creating opportunities, and celebrating the achievements of our young people.

Congratulations to all twelve recipients! Continue striving for excellence. Your hard work deserves to be celebrated! 👏🏽🎉
