Bahamas Water Polo

Bahamas Water Polo The Club’s main purpose is to develop national players to represent The Bahamas in international competitions such Carifta, CISC and CCCAN.

Mantas Water Polo Club was established in 2004 in order for The Bahamas to participate in Carifta 2004. The Club shifted to a higher gear when a professional coach was brought to The Bahamas in 2007. However our sights are clearly on the highest level, such as Junior PanAm and the Junior World Championship. The Club likes to achieve success by introducing the sport of water polo to school-age girl

s and boys. The Club runs Water Polo programs in primary and high schools, in both the public and the private sectors. Through focusing on school-aged children, the Club hopes to establish a strong league and to promote a competitive spirit. The Club also provides learn to swim programmes at Tambearly pool and at the Betty Kelly Kenning Swim Centre.
