🏆 SAN FRANCISCO DELIVERED. NEXT STOP: FORT LAUDERDALE. 🌴

43 SECONDS. AFTER 3½ HOURS OF RACING. That’s all that separated 2nd through 5th place in Class C on corrected time during the distance race at the 2026 ORC North American Championship.

That’s ORC racing.

Four days. Six races. 30 teams. Conditions ranging from 6–12 knots to 12–20 knots, with racing inside San Francisco Bay and offshore beyond the Golden Gate. The fleet was tested on boat speed, sail handling, navigation and tactics — and some of the battles came down to mere seconds.

Congratulations to the 2026 ORC North American Champions:

🥇 Class A — FOX 2.0, Victor Wild
🥇 Class B — VELVET HAMMER, James Nichols
🥇 Class C — SKELETON KEY, Peter Wagner
🥇 Class D — FEATHER, Zach & Ethan Berkowitz

Now the ORC North American Championship heads east and combines it with an incredible one design regatta! You will not want to miss this event! Co-hosted by SORC Sailing and Storm Trysail Club🌴
