HAPPY 49TH CHARTER DAY

Today, I proudly join the Brotherhood in celebrating the 49th Charter Day of the Iota Epsilon Lambda Chapter #506 of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

As a Life Member and the 15th Chapter President, I count it both an honor and a privilege to have served this great chapter and to have worked alongside Brothers committed to advancing the aims of Alpha Phi Alpha.

On this historic occasion, we salute:

The visionary Brothers who chartered this chapter on May 11th, 1977
The dedicated leaders who served as Chapter Presidents from 1977–2026
The many Brothers who proudly call Iota Epsilon Lambda the chapter of their initiation

For 49 years, this chapter has stood as a beacon of leadership, scholarship, service, and advocacy within our community and throughout the Brotherhood.

As we reflect on our rich legacy, may today not simply be a celebration of years, but a renewed call to purpose—a time of reflection, reclamation, recommitment, and return to the work of Alpha.

The strength of our chapter has never rested solely in its history, but in the Brothers who continue to carry the vision forward with passion, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication.

To all of the Brothers of Iota Epsilon Lambda, I extend best wishes for continued success, unity, growth, and impact as we continue building upon the strong foundation laid before us.
