The NexGen Young Men Mentorship Program proudly graduated Entry Four last night!
Under our pillars of character, competence, and country, these young men completed months of mentorship and leadership training and are now ready to lead in their homes, communities, and nation.

What an inspiring day for Nexgen Youngmen — Entry #4 was one for the books!

A huge thank you to Charles Bowe and Andrea McKinney for giving our young men an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Jet Aviation. They saw real-world aviation operations up close, asked great questions, and left with bigger dreams and sharper focus.

We were also honored to host Wendal and Martha Franklin — longtime friends and partners in young men’s development. Martha and Wendall, who has visited The Bahamas for over 50 years, joined us as she celebrates her birthday and the Franklin Family’s 4th of July Independence Family retreat. Their warmth and encouragement mean so much to our program.
Thereafter we proceeded to Atlantis Marina to meet Taylor Franklin, CEO of Franklin Group on his yacht.

Taylor welcomed our future leaders with pride and genuine support. He personally thanked the young men for their commitment to self-improvement and pledged continued Franklin Family support for Nexgen.
Excitingly, Taylor has offered one-on-one meetings with our participants to explore career pathways, mentorship, and further collaboration. This is a tremendous opportunity for each young man to receive tailored guidance and connections as they build their futures.
Thank you to everyone involved — Andrea, Wendall, Martha, Taylor, Emily,Amy, and the Franklin Family — for investing in our young men and believing in their potential. Nexgen keeps growing because community leaders like you step forward.

Last evening we had the privilege of seeing one of our Nexgen mentees, Demarco Wells, being chauffeured driven by our founder and former Senator, Ronald C. Duncombe. That simple act — a ride, a conversation, a show of belief — captures what mentoring really is: more than lessons, more than grades, more than a schedule.

Young men in our communities need consistent support: someone to open doors, model respect, correct without shame, celebrate progress, and teach how to carry responsibility. Mentoring bridges what the classroom can’t always provide — life skills, confidence, networks, and the steady presence that says “you matter and you can.”

To everyone who mentors, volunteers, sponsors, or simply checks in with a young person: thank you. To those who can give time, resources, or a kind word — please do. Our future depends on raising young men who are prepared, resilient, and committed to community.

Nexgen Youngmen is proud to stand with our boys as they grow into leaders. Let’s keep investing in them — one ride, one conversation, one opportunity at a time.

Nexgen Youngmen Mentoring Program to Mike’s Tailoring — a special day of grooming and preparation as these young men of entry #4 as they step confidently into manhood. From suit fittings to grooming tips and conversations about responsibility and respect, the experience was about more than clothes — it was about pride, presentation, and purpose.
Several of our young men are heading to their proms, and seeing them suited and ready reminded us why these moments matter. NEXGEN’s Founder Ronald Duncombe believes in exposing future generations to experiences that build character, self-respect, and opportunity — and days like this show how mentorship and practical guidance change lives.
Thank you to Mike’s Tailoring for the warm welcome and expert care. Proud of our boys—onward and upward.
