Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday and helped make the JA Bahamas Alumni Association Fun Run/Walk such a wonderful morning of health, wellness and community! 💙💛

A very special thank you to all of our sponsors and partners whose support helped bring the event to life. We truly appreciate your generosity and commitment to JA Bahamas and our alumni community.

Here’s your official schedule for the JA Bahamas Alumni 5K Fun Run/Walk so you can arrive ready and on time.

Registration and check-in open at 5:00 a.m., followed by the warm-up, welcome remarks and safety briefing before walkers and runners hit the route.

Schedule of Events

5:00 a.m. — Registration and check-in open
5:30 a.m. — Warm-up session
5:50 a.m. — Welcome remarks and safety briefing
6:00 a.m. — Walkers start
6:20 a.m. — Runners start
7:15 a.m. — Finish-line activities and vendor experience
9:00 a.m. — Closing remarks and prize giveaways

Grand Bahama registration is now open for the JA Company Programme!

Designed for students in Grades 9–12, the programme gives young people hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, financial literacy, marketing and business operations.

Students will have the opportunity to develop ideas, work as a team, build real-world business skills and gain experience they can carry into their future.

If you know a student who is ready to learn, lead and build, encourage them to register.

Please note that collection days will be Thursday and Friday of this week at Bristol’s on Gladstone Road, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Collection will take place under the cabana.

Participants who have not yet paid online may also make their payment in person at the collection location.

If these collection times do not work for you, you may collect your items on the day of the event. Alternatively, you may call 433-5878 to arrange an evening pickup location between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on either Thursday or Friday.

Are you running for time, walking at your own pace or taking an easy stroll while catching up with friends and your old JA crew? However you choose to move, the goal is to show up, enjoy the morning and be part of the community.

JA Alumni, this one is for us! 💛

The JA Company Programme helped shape many of our journeys—and now we have an opportunity to help guide the next generation.

JA Grand Bahama is looking for volunteers who are ready to mentor, encourage and share their experience with young people in the programme.

Volunteers can strengthen their leadership and public speaking skills, build new professional connections and gain meaningful community-service experience. Training and programme materials will be provided, so no teaching experience is required.
