Community Day Prep is in Full Swing! 🌱

As we get ready for Community Day on October 24th, we were happy to welcome the Ministry of Tourism team in Grand Bahama to the mangrove nursery to lend a hand with potting and nursery maintenance! 💚

There’s something special about getting your hands in the soil, connecting with nature, and contributing to a greener future. And trust me, the process of potting mangroves and maintaining the nursery is surprisingly relaxing! It’s a little nature therapy while making a BIG impact.

A huge thank you to the team for showing up and supporting our mission to protect and restore our coastal ecosystems. Together, we’re growing more than mangroves - we’re growing community!

Propagules collection season is here!

A typical mangrove planting exercise takes a lot of planning - from tracking low tide windows to hoping today won’t be as muddy as the last trip. 😅

But every step through the mud is worth it. We do it to restore what has been damaged and give these ecosystems a fighting chance. 🇧🇸
