Celebrating the heart of our network: “Our Volunteers!”

The success of the 2026 F.L.O.W. (Future Leaders of Worth) Summer Program would not have been possible without the commitment, energy and dedication of our incredible team members and volunteers.

At the Feeding Five Thousand Network, we understand that meaningful work cannot be accomplished without the help, support and willingness of the right hands.

From assisting with activities and guiding students to supporting logistics and creating a safe, welcoming environment, every volunteer played an important role in making F.L.O.W. 2026 a memorable and impactful experience.

We are especially proud to invest in the training and development of student volunteers. Volunteering provides young people with opportunities to build leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organisational skills. It also helps them develop confidence, discipline, compassion and a deeper understanding of service qualities that will benefit them in their education, careers and personal lives.

To all our volunteers: your contribution mattered. Your time, talents and willingness to serve helped create meaningful experiences for our campers and strengthened the work of our organization.

We encourage you to continue making a difference—not only through programmes like F.L.O.W., but also in your homes, schools, communities and throughout our nation.

Thank you for showing that when people come together with purpose, dedication and a heart to serve, positive change is possible.

We Share, We Care, We Compel!

F.L.O.W. (Future Leaders of Worth) Summer Program: Creativity, Care and Community Continued…..
🥳🎊🎉❤️🙏🏽👏🏽

Days Three and Four of the 2026 F.L.O.W. Summer Program brought even more excitement, creativity and fun as our campers enjoyed the “I’m a Bahamian Cultural Day” and a series of culinary experiences under the theme “My Birthday Come Again.”

Day Three celebrated Bahamian culture and childhood memories through games and activities from back in the day. Students enjoyed hopscotch, jacks and marbles, while learning about traditional games and experiences. The day ended with a delicious chicken-in-the-bag meal from Bamboo Shack with our Doctors Hospital Health System, Bahamas friends reminding us that our hearts matter. 😉😉😉

Day Four was another memorable highlight. Our older students prepared homemade spaghetti, while the entire group took part in making cupcakes. The afternoon transformed into a joyful birthday celebration, complete with party hats, horns, juice, pizza, sweets and other treats.

These experiences encouraged creativity, teamwork, cultural appreciation and meaningful connections among the students.

The excitement and participation throughout the week reflected the success of F.L.O.W. 2026 and the positive impact of providing enriching opportunities for our young people.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Grant's Town Wesley Methodist Church for hosting our camp this year, Pepper N Spice- Nassau,Bahamas, our dedicated volunteers, valued partners and generous sponsors for helping to make the week so rewarding and memorable.

Together, we continue to impact, positively influence, and add meaningful value to our community.

F.L.O.W. (Future Leaders Of Worth) Summer Program’s of Creativity, Care and Community!
🥳🎊🎉🥳🎊🎉❤️🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The first two days of the 2026 F.L.O.W. Summer Program were filled with excitement, creativity and meaningful learning as campers came together for unforgettable experiences.

Day One themed “All Things Bright and Beautiful” was dedicated to a full day of Bible stories, fitness, team building activities and art and craft, where students explored their creativity through bright, beautiful and hands-on activities. With enthusiasm filling the room, campers had the opportunity to express themselves, develop new skills and create colourful projects while enjoying the joy of learning in a fun and supportive environment.

On Day Two, the focus shifted to celebrating the matters of the heart. Students participated in the “My Heart Matters Day” an engaging, full-day practical and theory session in CPR and first aid training, facilitated through our valued partnership with Doctors Hospital Health System, Bahamas. The campers received top-class instruction and gained important knowledge about how to respond during an emergency.

The day also featured a state-of-the-art STEM project focused on the heart and the circulatory system. Through interactive demonstrations and practical activities, students explored how the heart functions and how blood circulates throughout the body. Their curiosity and excitement were evident as they connected science with real-life applications.

Hosting this training was especially important to us because many children in The Bahamas may find themselves at home with a younger sibling, parent or grandparent and may not always know how to respond in an emergency. We were therefore pleased to equip them with this valuable, potentially life-saving information and skills.

The smiles, teamwork and sense of accomplishment captured in these photos reflect the success of the first two days. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Doctors Hospital, our partners, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who helped make these experiences special, memorable and rewarding for our students.

When the missions and vision align, it’s always a pleasure to contribute to the wider goal. 🥳🎊🎉

Today, the Feeding Five Thousand Network was thrilled to serve alongside the Rotary Clubs of The Bahamas and many other civic organizations for the Bahamas Striping Group of Companies annual Back to School Packing initiative.

Witnessing so many people come together to help package 20,000 school bags for underserved students across The Bahamas, was absolutely amazing.

Our favorite part of the day was engaging students from Queen's College Bahamas in such an impactful project while exposing them to the importance of giving back.

Thank you to the Bahamas Striping Group of Companies for inviting us to serve. We were proud to be part of this collective act of giving back, and we’re always grateful for the opportunity to advance our mission.
