The first membership call for the global Youth Democracy Network (YDN) is open, inviting young leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean to apply.
Join a dynamic global community of young leaders—including civil society activists and emerging politicians—united in their passion for promoting democracy, human rights, and fundamental freedoms. As a YDN member, you’ll gain access to mentorship, resources, and practical tools to amplify your impact in shaping decision-making processes.
Marking its official launch, YDN’s first regional meeting will take place in Panama City on December 5-6, 2024 (dates TBC). The program will include discussions on youth leadership, democracy, and governance, featuring decision-makers from the region, and a foresight workshop. The meeting will be held in English.
Applications are open from October 22 - November 1, 2024 (midnight CET).
Who Can Apply
Individuals aged 18 to 30 at the time of application.
Young leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean, including those engaged in civil society, political parties, academia, and youth organizations.
Applicants can come from diverse fields, including but not limited to politics, social activism, journalism, law, tech, and education, as long as they are committed to promoting democratic values.
A good knowledge of English is encouraged.
