Progressive Young Liberals Southern Shores

The Progressive Young Liberals aims to become the most politically influential organization for young Bahamians by:

• Advocating the principles of the Progressive Liberal Party to young Bahamians through innovative strategies and effective PYL development.

• Advocate the purpose, power and process of voting through effective educational strategies.

• Build political networks linking the islan

ds of the Bahamas north to south, east to west to increase understanding of major national issues and party policies through effective education and advocacy.

• Create opportunities for youth to express their views and concerns of both national and social related issues.

• Cultivate the political, social and national leaders of tomorrow through mentorship programs and training initiatives.

• Developing personal, political, and professional relationships through social networking

• Empower young men and women to participate more effectively within the political and civic arena whether within or beyond the state of which they live

• Engaging young Bahamians in promoting positive solutions to national policies in the interest of the public on key community issues at all governmental levels.

• Recruiting, supporting, and training the youth within, and about, the political process.
