UCTRANS KICKS OFF ITS TWO-DAY BOARD MEETING IN THE BAHAMAS!

Today, the United Caribbean Trans Persons Network (UCTRANS) officially begins its two-day Board Meeting in Nassau, bringing together leadership committed to strengthening the transgender and gender-diverse movement across the Caribbean.

Over the next two days, our Board will reflect on our progress, strengthen our regional strategy, discuss sustainability and partnerships, and set priorities for the work ahead.

This meeting also sets the stage for the third staging of Transcendence 2026, where trans and gender-diverse leaders, partners, advocates and allies will come together for important conversations around human rights, health, leadership and community empowerment.

From The Bahamas to the wider Caribbean, we continue to build, organize and create spaces where our communities can lead and thrive.

UCTRANS Set to Host Its Board Meeting in The Bahamas

The United Caribbean Trans Persons Network (UCTRANS) is set to host its Board Meeting in Nassau, The Bahamas, October 6–7, 2026, bringing together leadership to reflect, strategize, and strengthen our regional movement.

As we continue building a stronger organization, this meeting will focus on our priorities, sustainability, regional advocacy, health and human rights, and the work ahead for transgender and gender-diverse communities across the Caribbean.

The Board Meeting will lead directly into the third staging of Transcendence, October 8–11, 2026—continuing our commitment to leadership, collaboration, visibility, and creating spaces where our communities can thrive.
