1st PLACE! 🥇Congratulations to Reinerio Zaldivar for a perfect 5 out 5 score at the Bahamas Open Chess Classic (Aug 2026)! 🎉 Zaldivar is not only a passionate chess enthusiast, but also a Mathematics teacher at C.W. Saunders Baptist High School. Please join us in congratulating him on this major accomplishment!👏👏👏

In 2nd and 3rd place respectively were Dr. Nicholas Johnson and Candidate Master Kendrick Knowles, Jr. Both are members of the BCF’s 10 member Olympiad team competing in Uzbekistan in September.
