This year, under the theme “The Power of 2nd Chances: From Setback to Comeback,” we proudly honor Dr. Eric W. Fox.
Dr. Fox’s journey began with hardship. As a young man, he battled addiction, homelessness, poor choices, and encounters with the law. His future seemed uncertain, and the streets appeared to be writing the story of his life.
But God had another plan.
In 1988, a second chance came through Teen Challenge Bahamas. What began as a path to recovery became the foundation for a life devoted to restoring others. Rather than allowing his past to define him, Dr. Fox transformed his pain into purpose and his struggles into service.
Today, he is an internationally respected minister, counselor, philanthropist, and community leader whose work has impacted countless lives throughout The Bahamas, the Caribbean, and beyond. For nearly four decades, he has dedicated himself to helping individuals break free from addiction, violence, and hopelessness—proving that no life is beyond redemption.
His story is living proof that your past does not determine your future. When faith meets perseverance, a setback can become the beginning of an extraordinary legacy.
