🎳 STRIKES, SMILES & SUNRISE FELLOWSHIP! 💜💙❤️💚💛🧡

Tonight, the Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise wrapped up Membership & New Club Development Month with an evening of fun, fellowship and a little friendly competition!

Throughout this Rotary year, every Rotarian has been assigned to a Color Team, creating even more opportunities to connect, build relationships and strengthen the bonds of fellowship within our club. Tonight, those teams took the competition to the bowling lanes!

There were strikes, spares, a few gutter balls, plenty of cheering and, most importantly, lots of laughter and great memories.

Because Rotary isn't only about the work we do in our communities, it’s also about the friendships we build along the way.

What a great way to close out Membership Month—together, connected and having FUN!

🏆 CONGRATULATIONS TO GUIDE RIGHT!

Congratulations to Mr. Garth Jackson Jr., winner of tonight’s Shark Tank: RCNS Edition, hosted by the Rotary Satellite Club of Nassau Sunrise!

Garth pitched Guide Right, a youth service and mentoring initiative of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., established in 1922 to support young men through leadership development, academic achievement, mentoring and career guidance.

Why is this important to the Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise ?

Because empowering youth is at the heart of creating lasting impact. When we invest in mentorship, education and leadership development, we help equip young people with the tools, confidence and guidance they need to build stronger futures for themselves and their communities.

After an impressive round of service project pitches focused on creating meaningful and sustainable impact in our community, Mr. Garth Jackson Jr. emerged as tonight’s winning presenter!

SHARK TANK: RCNS EDITION — WHAT AN EVENING!

This evening, the Rotary Satellite Club of Nassau Sunrise brought innovation, passion, and service to the forefront with Shark Tank: RCNS Edition!

The competition was stellar! We heard inspiring pitches featuring community initiatives aligned with several of Rotary’s Areas of Focus, including protecting our environment, basic education and literacy, disaster preparedness and community resilience, and disease prevention and health.

We were truly blown away by the creativity, research, passion, and commitment demonstrated by each presenter. More importantly, we learned so much about the needs within our community and the innovative ways ordinary people can turn ideas into meaningful, lasting impact.

Congratulations to everyone who stepped into the “Shark Tank” and boldly pitched their vision for service.

This is Rotary in action—identifying needs, inspiring solutions, and creating lasting impact!

The Rotaract Club of Nassau Sunset is hosting a Book Drive from August 25 – September 24, and we’re inviting the community to help us make an impact! 💙📚💛

Donated books will support Willard Patton Preschool and will also be distributed to public beach libraries on September 25. 🌴📖

We’re proud to collaborate with the Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise and Rotaract Club of the University of The Bahamas on this initiative.
