More amazing opportunities for young people in Exuma this summer! 🌟 Exuma Christian Academy is hosting Summer School from June 29th – July 24th, 9AM to 1PM. Open to ages 2–17, it’s four weeks of hands-on tutoring, fun crafts, and learning through play — with lunch included! $150 a week and everyone is welcome. Friends of Exuma is excited to support the return of the Summer Arts Camp! 🌞🎨

This year’s theme, Treasures of The Bahamas, invites children to explore our culture, nature, stories, and traditions through creativity, hands-on art, and outdoor adventures.

📅 Sessions: July 13–17 | July 20–24 | July 27–31
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
🏖️ Beach Fridays (with lunch + 3:00 PM pickup)
💰 $125 per week (includes materials, sketchbook & snacks)
🎟️ Limited scholarships available

Host the 11th Andrew and Kerry Bowe Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser at Royal Blue Golf Course.

Sponsor a Jr Golf Camp

Host the 4th annual Exuma Independence Gala.

Give scholarships for:

Primary School Student of The Year (Exuma)

Best results in the Bahamas Junior Certificate examination.

Andrew and Kerry Bowe Memorial Scholarship (4 years) University of the Bahamas.

Host a Free Hair Grooming Fair for school age children.

Collaborate with the Social Services Department to purchase School Uniforms for struggling families.

Exuma Christian Academy is bringing the 80s back with their school play: Heartbeats on a Walkman, and it looks like an incredible night of entertainment.

Friends of Exuma is proud to support the work of the creating a space where young people can explore Bahamian arts and culture through hands-on workshops, afterschool programs, and creative camps. It is also a gallery for local artists to collaborate and display their work. 🖼️
