πΈ Something special is BLOOMING! πΈ
As we prepare our young ladies for the 2026/2027 school year, I wanted to do something that goes beyond simply helping with school expenses. I want to challenge our girls to think, lead, problem-solve and recognize that their ideas have the power to create change.
Through Bloom by Chevonia McBride, powered by Sisters of Strength Bahamas, I am excited to offer a Student Grant of up to $500 to one deserving Bahamian high school girl in Grades 7β12 attending school on Grand Bahama Island. ππ
But thereβs a twist! π‘
Applicants must submit a 500β750 word essay identifying a real need or challenge within their school or community, propose a practical solution, and explain how that solution could be implemented during this academic year.
I want our girls to understand that leadership isn't reserved for adults. You are never too young to identify a problem, develop a solution and make a difference.
