Toastmasters Club 1425: Freeport Eagles

Toastmasters Club 1425: Freeport Eagles Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.

Through its worldwide network of clubs, each week Toastmasters helps more than a quarter of a million men and women of every ethnicity, education level and profession build their competence in communication so they can gain the confidence to lead others. Toastmasters continues to build on its legacy by providing a strong foundation for the future. Its proven educational program continually evolves

to address the needs of the world’s communicators and leaders both today and tomorrow. Toastmasters members learn to tell their story. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback – and accept it. Through our community of learners, they find their path to leadership. They do this by practice and learning skills by filling meeting roles, ranging from giving a prepared or an impromptu speech to serving as timer, evaluator or grammarian. There is no instructor; instead, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in positive manner, focusing on what was done correctly and what could be improved. It was a historic and exciting evening for Freeport Eagles Club #1425, as we collectively took a pause and reflected on a historic and successful 2025 / 2026 Toastmasters year, under the theme, "Power In The Pause" with Toastmaster of the Evening being TM Sade Hollingsworth, it was an excellent meeting enjoyed by all, thanks Eagles for a great year!!

"Knowledge Is Power Workshop", was the theme for Freeport Eagles Club #1425 Toastmaster's meeting on 14th May 2026, with Toastmaster of the Evening Meltheo Wells behind the education wheel, it was a great learning experience, with time for questions and answers following each presentation. With the theme "Dance To The Finish Line", on the 07th May 2026, Freeport Eagles Club #1425 Toastmaster's meeting was awesome and time well spent, TM Sylvain Michel at the wheels spinning the educational and entertaining section of the meeting, with one prepared speech and lots of musical entertainment and sweet treats, it was a brilliant meeting night indeed.
