The H.E.R. Health Breakfast Seminar was made possible through the generous support of our sponsors and partners who continue to stand with us in advancing women’s health across East End, Grand Bahama.

We extend sincere thanks to our Title Sponsor, Hon. Kwasi Thompson, MP – East End Grand Bahama Constituency Office; 2026 Risk Assessment Program Sponsor, Grand Bahama Power Company; Community Partners, Kiku Zeki Court 202, Freeport Oil Company Limited, Kelly’s Freeport, and Livity; and our Presenters and Educational Partners, The Kidney Center, FLOW, Bahama Health, and Dental Therapy.

Your collaboration helped create a meaningful space where women could hear, evaluate, and respond to their health needs, reinforcing our shared commitment to ensuring that early detection is achievable for every woman in Grand Bahama. đź’›

The H.E.R. Health Breakfast Seminar in Pelican Point, East End brought women together for a powerful morning of learning, movement, prevention, and connection. đź’›

Through the pillars Hear • Evaluate • Respond, participants explored:
✔️ Understanding their breast health
✔️ Completing personal risk assessments
✔️ The importance of annual physicals
✔️ The importance of daily movement
✔️ Access to affordable insurance options for diagnostics and treatment

Most importantly, women left with clear next steps toward screening and follow-up care.

Thank you to our presenters, partners, sponsors, and community supporters who helped make this initiative possible. Together, we continue working to ensure that early detection is achievable for every woman in Grand Bahama.

Do you know your breast cancer risk? đź’—
Breast cancer risk assessment helps you understand your personal chance of developing breast cancer based on factors like your age, family history, lifestyle, and overall health.
Knowing your risk isn’t scary — it’s empowering. It helps you take the right steps early, whether that’s regular screenings, lifestyle changes, or speaking with a healthcare professional.
Early awareness can save lives.
