A couple of Saturdays ago, the Grand Bahama Resilience Center proudly hosted our Mental Health Awareness Fun Run/Walk 2026 under the theme "More Good Days Together."

The event brought together community members of all ages in support of mental health awareness, wellness, and resilience. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this initiative. Your presence helped make the event a meaningful success.

A special thank you to Fast Track Management for expertly overseeing and managing the race, ensuring a safe and well-organized experience for all participants. We also extend heartfelt appreciation to Alice Williams of Mind Body & Soul for leading an energetic and engaging warm-up session that got everyone moving and energized before the event.

We are also deeply grateful to the Bahamas Red Cross for providing volunteers and support throughout the event. Your willingness to serve helped ensure the day ran smoothly and safely. Special thanks as well to the Grand Bahama Soccer Club, our largest participating group, for your continued support year after year. Your commitment to community wellness and mental health awareness is truly appreciated.

Together, we took important steps toward promoting mental wellness, reducing stigma, and encouraging healthy conversations about mental health throughout our community.

Mental health matters, and awareness saves lives. We encourage everyone to continue supporting efforts that promote education, understanding, and access to mental health resources across The Bahamas.

Thank you for helping us create more good days together. 💚
