Sometimes life brings challenges that can feel overwhelming. Daily pressures can affect our mental well-being. The good news is that support, practical skills, and connection can make a difference.

In this video, two participants share their experiences with Problem Management Plus (PM+), a World Health Organization-supported intervention that helps people manage stress, solve practical problems, strengthen social support, and take positive steps toward recovery and well-being.

Their stories remind us that healing is possible, resilience can be learned, and no one has to face life's challenges alone.

At the Bahamas Resilience Center, we are committed to helping individuals and communities build the skills they need to navigate difficult times and create more good days, together.

πŸŽ₯ Mental Health Month 2026 | More Good Days, Together πŸ’š

A good day does not have to be a perfect day.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, the Bahamas Resilience Center invites you to focus on the small habits that help create more good days, together. Every step toward wellness matters, and every act of support builds a more resilient community.

✨ Mental Health Tips for More Good Days:
🌿 Take a few minutes each day to pause and breathe.
🌿 Practice self-awareness
🌿Stay connected with people who encourage and support you.
🌿 Focus on what is within your control.
🌿 Practice gratitude by celebrating small wins.
🌿 Set healthy boundaries and make time for rest.
🌿 Reach out for help when you need it. Strength grows through connection.

Remember, mental wellness is not about never struggling. It is about learning to RESET when overwhelmed, REALIGN when distracted, and RISE again with gratitude and intention.

πŸ’š One breath.
πŸ’š One pause.
πŸ’š One good day at a time.

Because when we to that we can create More Good Days, Together.

For the past 6 plus years, the Bahamas Resilience Center has remained committed to one mission: helping individuals, families, and communities heal, grow, and thrive.

What began as a response to crisis has grown into a movement rooted in resilience, mental wellness, compassion, and community connection.

This year alone, we expanded counseling services, strengthened youth development initiatives, trained community-based providers, supported vulnerable children and families, partnered with schools, churches, workplaces, and national organizations, and extended our reach regionally through psychosocial initiatives and research collaborations.

Because of the support of our donors, volunteers, partners, and community members, lives continue to be touched, and communities continue to rise.

This video reflects just a glimpse of the impact we were able to make together.

Thank you for believing in the mission.
Thank you for walking this journey with us.

Together, we are building stronger communities, healthier futures, and a more resilient region.
