Some women don’t just build extraordinary careers. They use their success to create opportunities for generations of others. 💗

Dolly Parton is one of those women.

Beyond the music, movies and iconic career is a legacy rooted in giving back. Dolly has championed literacy and education, invested in children and families, supported communities in times of need, and used her platform to help people access opportunities.

Through initiatives like the Imagination Library, which has gifted hundreds of millions of books to children around the world, she has demonstrated what can happen when success and purpose come together.

She has also shown generations of women and girls that you can be ambitious and compassionate, strong and kind, successful and generous, all while staying unmistakably yourself.

That spirit reflects so much of what we believe at SheRocks.

We believe in women finding their voices, pursuing bold ideas, creating opportunities for one another and using their talents, resources and platforms to make a difference.

For our founder, Dr. Emily Weeks, that connection is also personal.

Emily was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up looking up to Dolly, not only as an entertainer and entrepreneur, but as an example of a woman who dreamed big, built something extraordinary and never forgot the importance of giving back.

Today, that same belief in lifting others is at the heart of SheRocks.

We absolutely love The ABCs of Women in Music by Anneli Loepp Thiessen and Haeon Grace Kang.
