MOURNING IN LIONS YE PROGRAM
This morning we were surprised by a very sad news. Lin MARIO NICOLOSO, our great friend and great supporter of the Lions Clubs International Cultural Youth Exchange , left us. Mario was a friend of the youth, he dedicated many (22) years of his life to the youth exchange, treating the visitors as his children, both in the organization of the camps and even in the logistics of looking for young people in the airports at any time, the latter, those who were at Camp Alpe Adria and even in other camps were fortunate to meet him personally. Mario resided in Majano, land of his parents, province of Udine, Friulli, Italy, had no children and four years later lost his faithful companion, Annamaria Capuccio. His "children", exchangers are many. He leaves a giant legacy for the pride of the Italian Lions. Mario and myself have started in the same year in Lions YE.In 2016 was our last meeting in Cavazzo del Tomba, Provincia de Treviso, Veneto, in Lion Donatella Tondi’s home for a delightful lunch. Activities: Bulding a team , cultural tips ,sports , visiting tourist and cultural sites, International Banket, Countries Presentation and Talent Show. Trips in Sao Paulo State and Rio de Janeiro State . with beaches and mountais.
Arrival Airport : Sao Paulo International (GRU) as main gate and conection depending on host families
Arrival dates: JULY 1st or 2nd
Departure date : July 29 or 30

Note: Students hosted in other cities must take a flight in July 21st from airport where are hosted to Sao Paulo Int'l (GRU)

GOOD NEWS
After 10 sucessful programs , from 2000 until 2009, THE 11th BRAZIL LIONS TRAVEL YOUTH CAMP is preparing to come again. Our District LC-5 is supporting it while we are trying to get cooperation of others ones to undertake the trips. Brazil did not stop to offer camps since 2010, the Lions in South of Brazil Districts L in Rio Grande do Sul State managed by brave Lions Huberto Lambert and Vera Franz those have had several students managed by myself until 2009 they could see the fantastic experiences their sponsored students have had.

Colleagues Lions those will be interested to send students let me know. Age range 16-19 July 2017. As we have all duties ready and we can say OK so we can receive applications.
