LEYDESDORFF MEMORIAL 11TH CONFERENCE Dear WCSA Friends and Fellows, at our 11th conference, we are setting a special session LOET LEYDESDORFF MEMORIAL.As we are are all system scholars I do not need to introduce his thought in depth to to you https://g.co/kgs/o8n92v Our beloved and dear friend passed away last March 11th. His key contribution is the concept of multiple( originally triple) helix , a systemic conceptual tool which is both a theoretical pillar and an inspiring stategy for WCSA whose 11th conference for the first time in our history sees a a scientific director belonging to the knowledge intensive business world and not to the academic one. As a matter of fact, Loet was a pioneer in theory and strategy of governance- university- business connections The " WCSA veterans" will remember Loet, and his unique laughter ,at dinner with all of us at the social event of our 1st conference where he was member of the board awarding Ervin Lazlo with our 1st WCSA MEDAL whose current recipient is Edgar Morin and the next one will be announced at mid June. Our Fellows and Friends Lucio Biggiero and Jerome Warren are taking care of the memorial event( 1h minimum, 2h maximum depending on the contributions received) . VERY IMPORTANT our conference (please see the general call at wcsaglobal.org) allows four different participation modes: a) traditional in presence speech b) digital remote presentation by zoom c) digital poster /ppt submission d) digital photo portfolio and/or short docufilms( maximum 15 minutes length) and it applies to the Memorial too. If you are interested in contributing, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can support Lucio and Jerome to shape the Memorial session by May 31st . All my best Andrea
