DAY 1 COMPLETE 🇸🇬🌺

What a way to open the 2026 IVF Va‘a World Sprint Championships!

From our juniors to our masters, V1 to V6 and V12 — Hawai‘i showed up today. Strong racing, big efforts, finals earned, and plenty more racing still ahead.

But beyond the results, today was about Hawai‘i moving as one. Crews supporting crews. Clubs supporting clubs. Paddlers, coaches, families and supporters all representing Hawai‘i together.

A huge MAHALO to everyone who raced, helped, cheered, carried, organized and supported our team through a very full Day 1.

We celebrate today — then we get ready to go again. 💜💛

📣 UPDATE: TIME TRIALS RESCHEDULED 🛶

Time Trials has been rescheduled to March 7–8, 2026.

This adjustment gives everyone more time to prepare and ensures smooth, safe, and competitive races for all paddlers and crews. Intent to participate is now open — be sure to submit yours!

Mahalo for your understanding and flexibility as we make adjustments for the upcoming Time Trials. Let’s get ready to hit the water strong! 💪🏽🌊

On the final day of racing in Brazil, our V6 Master Women 60 crew powered through 24KM to claim 1st place! 💪✨

Congratulations to Lynn Christensen, Denise Darval-Chang, Theresa Felgate, Jennifer Fisher, Pauahi Ioane, and Robin Cooper — gold for Hawaiʻi! 🥇🌊🏝️
