Easter Sunday

What’s about those who don’t know of our hope through the resurrection? What about the ones who have HEARD, but can’t trust through the abuse and abandonment?

I took a sibling set of 3 teens from the orphanage to the Good Friday service (ages 12, 15 and 17). The pastor asked us to pray for each other. I asked them “what would you like me to pray for?” Two of them said they wanted a nee family…But this one couldn’t even come up with the words to suggest what her heart wants but her mind tells her is impossible. So she shook her head and shrugged her shoulder.

I hugged her hard through my tears…I prayed “Dear God, please show ****** your love for her.”
And then I heard Him gently say,

“That’s what I’m doing.”
😭😭😭

She won’t remember what the pastor said. She usually sleeps on my shoulder through most of the service anyways. She won’t be able to name the gospels, or even tell you which church she went to for that whole year.
But you know what she WILL tell you?
That at church she felt loved.
If nowhere else, at least there.
At church some nice lady let her always sleep on her shoulder. At church she was kissed and hugged.

Somewhere in her soul she’ll know that church = Jesus = the love of a motherly hug to a teen girl whose mother abandoned her. Even if just for a couple hours she can pretend she has a momma.

And if that’s all I’m remembered for, I think that’s ok.

Several of you have been asking these past day how you can get involved. At this particular moment in time we are awaiting the delivery of our donated customized 40ft container dorm unit (est April 3rd) and this brings multiple costs associated with the ground prep (footings) and inter-state shipping / installation for delivery day.

This is an exciting time and we're anious to share pitures as we progress! Meanwhile our house construction is on 🔥🙌 God is good!

Everyone is welcomed to visit our website and know more about the origins and details of Stoa Solomontos.

Our house is too small but our land isn't, so we house them in shipping container units. This allows them time to work and study until one day they're mature and independent enough for adult life.

This businesswoman contacts me offering employment to the aging-out teens that we haven’t even started ministering to yet!! And she wants to help us with everything else too!

We have received the donation of our first housing unit that will accommodate 6 teenage girls PLUS the entire security wall around our property!

This video was taken during TORRENTIAL downpours throughout town. At the time of this video we had a 5-person meeting on our property to discuss boundary lines with the neighbors and our engineers. All 5 people arrived late due to the downpours they had to drive through to get there...

But on our property there was dry land.

This particular day was a day that rain would have been a total no-no! It was the day they needed to pour our concrete foundation. Huge amounts of rain were predicted (all week long, actually), and the crew was nervous. But I told them: do your thing and don't worry about the rain! When I showed up just before recording this video you could see the reaction in their eyes....they couldn't believe it was actually working!

But the weather is ABSOLUTELY obedient to the voice of authority in the name of Jesus. Why wouldn't it be? Didn't Jesus say it would?

I told the weather that this property isn't JUST a place for us to live - it's a ministry...with a purpose...and we are in a hurry to do what God's told us to! Therefore I've ordered the rain to fall WHEREver it wants, WHENever it wants...EXCEPT for our property on Monday through Friday, during business hours. Evenings and weekends the rain can fall but it's not allowed to slow our progress.
