Celebrating 30 years of impact! šŸŽ‰

Friends of Tenwek is grateful to partner with the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) and to witness the growth of its mission to train African surgeons who serve their communities with skill, compassion, and Christ-centered care.

As PAACS celebrates this milestone at its Fall Conference, we give thanks for the lives touched, the surgeons trained, and the communities benefiting from this important work. We are grateful for the shared commitment of Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons, AGC Tenwek Hospital, and AGC Tenwek Cardiothoracic Centre to advancing compassionate, Christ-centered healthcare across Africa.

Baby Emmanuel was born with clubfoot associated with arthrogryposis, a condition that causes joint stiffness and contractures, affecting movement. Through specialised care, serial casting and the Ponseti method, our team is working to improve his foot alignment, mobility and long-term function.

A special appreciation to šŽš§šžš¬š¦š®š¬ šŠš¢š©š«š®š­šØ, Orthopaedic & Trauma Technologist for his dedicated work in supporting Emmanuelā€™s treatment journey.

At AGC Tenwek Hospital, every child deserves a chance to move towards a brighter future.
